Rainbow Dash, how the buck did you even get in Spitfire's house? Better yet, how often do you do this...?

Anyway, I left text out (mostly) because I hoped the expressions explained the "story". Seems like Spitfire awoke to a surprise guest.

Edit: Fixed the last panel so that it's more obvious that Spitfire flew upwards and that the bed didn't just disappear.

Edit 2: Since this was featured on EqD, and there seems to be some confusion, let me explain something: this is Spitfire's hotel that she's staying at while on tour, and Rainbow Dash showed up over night. It's not shipping necessarily, but if you want it to be, then you're free to see it that way, of course!

It's been established in the past that Rainbow Dash is something of a "fangirl" when it comes to the Wonderbolts and as such this could be taken to be in-character for her, especially given all of the things we've seen her do to try and get these guy's attention. I've heard and known of many cases where people take their admiration of famous characters a bit too far and given Rainbow's character has a history of taking things too far sometimes, this wouldn't exactly be too far out of the way for her. Perhaps she wouldn't go and outright break into someone's home like this, but it's not entirely out of the question.

The art is done well, with the characters remaining true to their initial designs, although it's clear that because Spitfire has never been seen out of her uniform in the show, her look here can be summed up as artistic liscense. Having said that this is pretty much what I'd expect her to look like, so no complaint there.

Humour, when done right, can be at it's best when either nothing is said or very little is said. If done at the right time, all that's needed is an expression on a face, and this picture certainly has that down. The expression on both characters are just hilarious, especially in Rainbow's solitary panel. The look on Spitfire's face on the last panel however is left more to the viewer's imagination. Is she shocked, angry, frightened? The picture doesn't outright come and tell us, which is often the best way to leave things.

Overall, this is a funny comic strip, with some good and consisten artwork, decent humour and relatively in-character events.

I did this when I went to Dashie's house, she kicked out the window so hard that I made a sonic rainboom. Later on, thousand broken bones. The doctors didn't know how I survive.

hmm the story i thought of from looking at the picture was that spitfire was in ponyville had too much to drink at one of pinkies parties and crashed at RD's place. the reason being is that there is a wonderbolts poster in the background and it looks as though she is waking up hung over.
